Galerie Urs Meile · 弦 xián is pleased to present Linyao Kiki Liu’s project exhibition 203.

“For a person, time is an elusive feeling, fluctuating between fleeting, prolonged, or eternal moments, contingent upon our physiological state and emotional experiences. The linear concept of time, as defined in physics, cannot capture this subjective phenomenon. These feelings resemble droplets in the ocean, sometimes trivial and minute, other times coalescing into tumultuous waves, and at mo- ments becoming one with the ocean—vast and tranquil. They are often stored in our bodies in unex- pected forms, waiting to be discovered.

The works within 203 represent traces left by a particular period of time and space within my body. Alternatively, they reflect the ways in which my senses sought to engage with the confines of that designated time and space.

I hope this exhibition serves as a medium through which these experiences may be accompanied and listened to.”
